Umbrellas are printed using either screen printing or full dye sublimation with a thick PVC undercoating, which is waterproof, fire retardant, UV and mildew resistant.

Featuring a tilt mechanism and valances, beach and promotional umbrellas can provide quick and portable shade with your custom printing. Although beach umbrellas are designed to stick in the sand at resorts and public beaches, they can also be used for other outdoor events and festivals.

How to properly install a beach umbrella at the beach

• First, make sure beach umbrellas are permitted at the beach.
• Be responsible for your beach umbrella.
• Use a rocking motion to plant about 1/5 of the pole into the sand for stability.
• Tilt the beach umbrella towards the wind so the wind pushes the beach umbrella into the sand.
• Wind direction might change throughout the day, adjust your beach umbrella accordingly.
• Lower the beach umbrella in gusty conditions.

Umbrella Cover Installation (for Aluminum and Wooden Umbrellas)

1. Remove the finial cap from the umbrella.
2. Place the cover over the frame.
3. Insert the tip of each rib into the corresponding pocket on the umbrella cover.
4. Re-attach the finial cap.

• For freestanding umbrellas, an appropriate base with enough weight must be used. (7.5 ft: 55 lbs or 9ft: 77 lbs).
• For umbrellas used within tables, a light base is still recommended for added stability (we recommend our 33 lb. steel composite round bases).
• When setting up the aluminum umbrella, always crank in the direction indicated on the crank handle. Once the top is taut, stop cranking. DO NOT OVER-CRANK. Overtensioning the umbrella top will cause damage to the umbrella frame, crank mechanism or umbrella cover.
• For the wooden umbrella, pull the cord down until the hub moves up past the pin holes, then place the pin into the desired hole to hold the umbrella in place. Let the rest of the rope hang down or tie it in a knot to hang it on the hook.
• Always fully extend the umbrella when in use. Never leave the umbrella partially opened as it will be damaged by the wind.

• For freestanding umbrellas, avoid using the tilt function (very windy condition can cause umbrellas to topple even with 77 lb. bases).
• When used within a table, the tilt function can be used except in windy conditions.
• When using the tilt function under gentle breeze condition, always point the umbrella with the peak in the direction of the wind to minimize resistance.
